and the 18th January, 1930, to believe that His
Highness the Rajah of Sarawak may hold views similar
to mine concerning the immense influence for good
which the School of Chinese Studies at the Hong Kong
University may exert over the future relations
between the British Empire and China. I do not think
that His Highness could find for his generosity an object of greater beneficence in the Far East.
